I am Lina Stalyte, a Lithuanian Singer-songwriter, and I introduce soulful compositions that explore themes of identity, love, and self-discovery. My music blends Baltic influences with a fusion of neo-soul, folk, and jazz.
My musical journey began at the age of 8 when I first laid my hands on a piano, despite the doubts of my relatives. Currently based in the vibrant music scene of Paris, I continue to follow my passion for music.
From the conservatory to folk music and eventually to a jazz school in Paris, I honed my skills in musical composition and developed my distinctive sound. Drawing inspiration from artists like Lianne La Havas, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Jorja Smith, my music delicately blends neo-soul and jazz elements.
In 2016, I released my debut EP, "Stalyte," showcasing my eclectic style and recounting my early experiences in Paris. Since then, I have graced various music festivals and concert halls, accompanied by a talented ensemble of musicians.
In 2018, I founded the Find Your Voice school, dedicated to nurturing artistic growth and helping others discover their passion for music.
Recently, I unveiled my cathartic 9-track album, "Summer Nights," recorded between London and Paris. Structured like a play, the album serves as a bold ode to self-love, sensuality, and femininity, chronicling my emotional journey over the past two years.
Throughout my career, I honed my singing and jazz piano skills under the guidance of mentors such as Luigi Grasso, Barry Harris, and Sarah Lazarus. I furthered my artistic understanding through exploration of improvisation techniques at the Meredith Monk School and Susan Batson Studio in New York.
A graduate in psychology from France and Lithuania, I continued my training with professional workshops and internships, including songwriting, media training, and Ableton workshops. My commitment to music extends beyond my own artistry, evident in my involvement with various events and organizations such as MaMA, Jirafe, and JazzAhead.
My achievements have been recognized and supported by institutions such as the Lithuanian Embassy in France, In the Sun Prod, and grants from SCPP, CNM, and AGATA (Lithuanian Sacem).
In 2024, I released the acclaimed track "Perfect" and its Lithuanian version "Tobula," garnering significant media attention. I also participated in Lithuania's National Auditions for the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö.
Currently, I am preparing for a solo tour in Lithuania and France for 2026, while also working on my upcoming solo album featuring captivating tracks like "Demons" and "Simple Life." I continue to captivate audiences with my soulful voice and unique musical style, with an upcoming solo concert scheduled in Vilnius in June 2024.
